Who we are

Move your Class is a Belgian-Dutch partnership based in Amsterdam with outposts in Tossa de Mar and Granada, Spain. Years of experience in language education, youth work and tourism form the foundation of this exciting project, entirely focused on the expectations and needs of young language travellers.

Hans Kohlbacher

For many years Hans has worked as an English and music teacher in Granada College, a bilingual private school in Granada, Spain. During the school holidays he co-organised bilingual summer camps for teenagers. Before this he used to run youth organisations on a voluntary basis while finishing his degrees in literature, linguistics, teaching and cultural studies at the university of Leuven, Belgium. Hans lives and breathes education and can be considered the creative force behind Move your Class.

Claudia Nieuwendijk

As a fully qualified English teacher and a tourist guide with tons of experience, Claudia knows a thing or two about organising language courses. She has worked for several companies specialized in language travel in the UK and in Spain. Here she has earned her stripes as a brilliant organiser who never misses a beat. Because of her bubbly personality and boundless energy she can be considered the heart and soul of Move your Class.

Joanna Fakkeldij
